Classic all-American diner in a quiet Staten Island mini-mall. The photo menu was so large that I could hardly lift it. Did not feel like the Manhattan Greek diners but had lots of local charm. We enjoyed a vegetable omelette with home fries and English muffins, and a "healthy" egg and turkey bacon wrap, fruit salad. Good coffee, constant refills, chocolate chip covered large cookies in the bakery display, pages of sandwich options and hot entrees at dinner. Obviously gets locals and repeat diners. Well priced and large portions. A keeper....
Excellent food, in my opinion best diner on the island - But potentially in the running for slowest waiter staff! Keep that in mind
Saw this place for years and finally went in just recently. Nice place, bigger than I thought. The food portions are very big as well. Breakfast food was excellent. Very good pancakes. Crispy bacon. Very good coffee too. It's not inexpensive, but I guess nothing is these days. Thanks Obama.
Great food, terrific attention, and lots of care....very recommended...and big portions
They are angels at this place! I didn’t know that my AirPods fell out of my bag and was able to trace it back to them ! They kept them for me !!! Thankfully Also, by the way, their brunch was super delicious!! We had the spanakopita appetizer which was super delicious. It came with salad and a tzatziki yogurt dip, which made it even more super delicious! I had an eggs Benedict Florentine with hashbrowns and my partner had a souvlaki plate. Everything was very fresh and the service was excellent! I can’t wait to try their waffles next time my partner says they’re outstanding
Nice place, quiet, the waitress is pretty and has a good service attitude. The food is delicious. I went there at 3:50 PM. I enjoyed a very comfortable afternoon meal.
Stumbled on this amazing place on a day comfort food was greatly needed. Buried my Uncle at the cemetery nearby. My cousins and I met there by accident after and was treated to lunch. Let me tell you. I felt like the clock had been turned back to the late 70's early 80's by the food and the service. Unbeatable service. The unlimited beets and bean salad and pickles were just what we needed after not eating for hours. The dishes were on point and although I didn't pay, my cousin did, the prices were reasonable. This was a meal that was filled with love and sadness, but the food, and experience certainly helped on such a sad day. Thank you all for being so kind and keeping the spirit of real diners alive.
